Night photography
Night sessions take place after sunset and use the light of the city and controlled light, instead of fighting the dark.

Night is not simply a continuation of the evening. Artificial light behaves differently, the colours shift, and the photographs take on a look that cannot be reproduced in daylight. At a wedding this is the hour when the couple is finally relaxed, with the pressure of the chuppah behind them.
Working at night takes the right equipment and advance planning of the place. A shop window, a street lamp or the lights of a bridge can become the main light source of the photograph, if you know where to stand.
What the coverage includes
- A night session for couples
- The couple photographed after the chuppah or in a separate session, once the evening is calm and there is no timetable.
- Working with city light
- Using the available light of the street and the buildings, together with controlled lighting brought to the session.
- Night locations
- Choosing places that look their best specifically after dark, rather than a chance frame in a car park.

Questions about night sessions
Does a night session work on the wedding day itself?
Yes, and it is one of the strongest parts of the evening. The session is placed in the timeline in advance so that it has real time.
Is special lighting needed?
Yes, and I bring lighting suited to the session. Some of the photographs are still made in the available light of the city.
How long is a night session?
Between forty minutes and ninety minutes, depending on the number of locations and the distance between them.
Planning night sessions?
A short conversation is enough to check availability on your date and send a written quote.
